Furthermore you can enjoy homemade karasumi from local striped mullet’s roe and other Hodzumitei specialities. ※ Uwajima Taimeshi is a regional version of sea bream rice, where raw sea bream sashimi is dipped in dashi stock and served with rice. ※ Uwajima Satsuma is grilled fish ground and mixed with mugimiso (barley and soybean paste) and served with a bowl of cooked barley rice.
